Using an Ultrasonic Dog Repeller to Train Dogs

An Ultrasonic Dog Repeller is a harmless device which is made from plastic and emits 20,000- 25,000Hz in order to scare away dogs which may be a threat to you or your family. You are able to walk the street without feeling in fear on being attacked, viciously barked at or mauled. These types of tools are particularly an investment for mailmen, delivery men and any profession that involves visiting houses where dogs could attack.

Not known to many people is that ultrasonic repellers may also be used to train dogs. It is particularly useful when training puppies.

An ultrasonic dog repellent works on a high pitched sound of between 110 to 115 decibels which is only heard by dogs and cats. The high pitched sound is particularly uncomfortable to the animals so that they get scared and would like to run away from the sound to get away from the discomfort. To activate an ultrasonic dog repeller all you need to do is press a button. This makes it extremely easy in the training of dogs.

When your dog does something disobedient, along with pressing the dog repeller say a loud command in a strong voice with an action. Your dog will then know he/she has done something wrong and stop it immediately. By being consistent with the command, action and using the ultrasonic dog repeller your dog will learn what is right and wrong. Eventually all you will need is your command and action; the repeller will no longer be needed.

Examples of the perfect time to use the repeller as a training tool are stopping barking, jumping, chewing on furniture and going through the garbage. You must remember however that the whole family must be consistent with your command and action so that your dog may learn its future commands.

With an ultrasonic dog repeller you can easily train your dog quickly and efficiently.
