Top 3 Exciting Household Pets

Nothing brings more joy to a small child but to own a pet, whether that would be a bird, dog, cat, or even a snake. Keeping a domesticated pet is good for a variety of reasons. Firstly, it helps in developing a child's responsibility. For example, you should always get your child to participate in various chores. If you have a dog then you should get your child to walk the dog as well as to wash the dog. Over time, a child will learn to be responsible in other important principles of a family household.

Pets are also great for social interactions. It can bring you great joy and excitement. For example, if you have a dog then you can teach it tricks and commands. Anyhow, lets have a look at the three most exciting domesticated pets to keep at home.

The first animal is the one and only dog. They are one of the smartest domesticated animals. They show great intelligence in terms of behavior and reaction. If you want dog videos on Youtube then you will find many videos where dogs are performing all these unbelievable tricks. Dogs will care for you if you show them the same level respect and care for them. Dogs can also keep your house secure. If a robber or burglar attempts to enter your house then the dog will immediately sense this danger and start barking.

The second household animal I would like to mention is the cat. If you thinks are too active and you do not have the time to care for them then you should definitely get a cat. These animals are unsurprisingly the total opposite to dogs. They are lazy and they just lie around the whole day. You do not have to take a cat out for a walk, like you normally would for a dog. You just need to show them love and care by patting and grooming its fur.

The last pet I would like to mention is the turtle. There are many different types of turtles available. If you are a hardcore pet lover then you can try taking care of a rarer type of turtle. If it is your first time then you should just stick with a common turtle breed. Turtles are easy to care for. You just need to place them in a tray or box which has some water and rocks. The only downside is their laziness. These aquatic creatures waddle around once in a while but they tend to stay passive.
